XBOX360 Korean version and American version differences?
Hello, I bought my XBOX 360 when I was living in Korea and when I got back to the states my console wasn't working. I called microsoft and was told to send in my console AND my power source in case they could not repair my unit and would have to send me an American version. Later I received my original console with a note saying that it had been repaired but I never received my power source back. I called and was told that they couldn't condone the usage of a Korean market console in the US because of risk and liability ("it'll smoke up on you!"). I travel a fair amount though and always use my appliances abroad with a proper converter and have never had a problem. He then told me to send my unit in again and that they would convert it to the US region but it seems to me that there is no safety benefit and I will lose the ability to play all my games. Can I simply buy a US power source and plug it in? Can I buy a Korean power source and use an adapter safely? Thanks for your help.
Honestly i'd say you have a 79% against 21% and the one you want is 21% see wiring in America is totaly differnt than Korea's.
