I have a screen i want to use with Xbox/Ps3, It has no speakers but is hdmi, Can i split the audio somehow?
What i mean
I have a Monitor, Its dvi but i have Hdmi working with it (Cable converters Etc) Its full HD and everything, the usual, But i have a xbox360 and Ps3, I Cant use them because i dont have a Television. But i can connect them to my Pc Monitor, the problem with this is the fact that my monitor doesnt have speakers, i have a 5.1 surrount system in my room, it has a usb and direct audio connection (Green connection)
Is there a way i could use these speakers (Or even the Razer Megladon i use with my pc) outputting the audio of my xbox360, whilst the visuals are displayed on the monitor?
You need a 3.5m female to RCA female, to plug the speakers into the console analog audio out.
If the surround system has digital or optical input, you can connect those outputs form the console to that input.
